Drawing since childhood, I began painting in oil in 1986 . The massive number of design possibilities that landscapes and figures present, offers me a never ending challenge as an artist. My latest paintings are done with Oil , Acrylic and Watercolor. The places I visit , along with my imagination, are the main inspiration for my work . In 2007 my painting ‘Against The Storm’ was featured in the May issue of The Parkhurst Exchange (a Canadian medical journal) .

About The Materials I Use:

Frederix Archival Canvas Boards:These Professional Grade Canvas Boards are constructed throughout with the highest quality, non-acidic archival materials. The tempered hardboard core will not warp, become brittle or rot over time. Mounted with a proprietary acid-free adhesive, the painting surface is the same Fredrix medium texture, 100% cotton duck used on Fredrix finest pre-stretched canvas. Grounded with a proprietary, two coat, acid-free formula of acrylic-titanium gesso primer, these Canvas Boards are truly archival.

They are suitable for oils, alkyds, caseins and acrylics. All carry the Fredrix Archival Seal of Quality-your assurance that this product is indeed archival and will stand the test of time.

Watercolors are done on high quality cotton watercolor papers such as Arches and Saunders Waterford.

All other paintings are painted on gessoed hardboard or birch or stretched cotton canvas .Paintings not framed behind glass are varnished with a UV resistant varnish.

Paint is always professional quality.

Drawings are always done on acid-free paper.
